Dr. Chang Kah Loon President of LogM; Chief Executive of AK Academy; Director of AK Shipping Sdn Bhd The Society of Logisticians, Malaysia (LogM) Biography: As a regionally known professional logistician and professor of practice (logistics), Dato' Chang brings over three decades of practical experience in logistics, especially maritime logistics. Currently, besides serving as the President of the Society of Logisticians Malaysia (LogM) and Chairman of the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport (Penang Section), he is the Director of Sea Consortium Sdn Bhd (for X-Press Feeders) and AK Shipping Sdn Bhd, as well as the Chief Executive of AK Academy (an authorised centre for Genovasi University College in Penang, covering northern Malaysia). He got his PhD degree in the field of Environment Chemistry at RWTH Aachen University, Germany in 2015. His professional activities comprise the Steering Committee of Science and Risk Communication of SETAC, Steering Committee of Plant Interest Group of SETAC, Member and group leader of the International Panel on Chemical Pollution (IPCP), Committee member of the Ecohydrology Youth Network UNSCO, and associate editor of the journals Environmental Sciences Europe (ESEU), and Integrated Environmental Assessment and Management (IEAM).
